The Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Latina Basket is the main men's basketball club in Latina. It plays in the Serie A2 championship. The club was officially born in the summer of 2010, following the split within the Associazione Basket Latina (founded in 1968), which had just been relegated from Legadue to Serie A Dilettanti . While AB Latina remained active (for the first period) at a youth level, Latina Basket was able to play in the 2010-2011 Serie A Dilettanti.
